Day by Day

Jordan is four months old today. Can you believe it? She has been trying out some rice cereal and bananas and she loves it. I think the smile says it all. She and I spent the day shopping, hitting up some after Christmas sales. Shopping seems to be growing on her. I have a sling that she rides in and she enjoys it, so much so that she usually falls asleep.:)

Jackson thinks that having a room upstairs is the best thing ever. We hardly see him, he'd rather be in his room playing than be downstairs with us. Tonight he had us laughing by standing on the stairs where we could only see his hand and doing hand puppets. He's such a trip!

We just wanted to wish everyone a Merry Christmas! We spent the weekend in SC and came home late last night. We were in a race to beat Santa here. After finally getting Jackson to sleep (he slept the entire drive so it was no easy feat) Santa made his grand appearance. Jackson was so excited, that is after he woke up at 10:30! Jordan enjoyed her things. We got some big smiles out of her. We hope that your Christmas was as fun as ours.

Jordan seems to be following in Jackson's footsteps in that she is not camera shy! She keeps us on our toes around here, that is for sure. To say she prefers to be held would be an understatement. But when I think she's about to drive me crazy she flashes me one of these smiles.

Jackson is a great big brother. I have to keep my eye on him because in his efforts to help he tends to hover. I'm sure Jordan can't wait to pop him a good one. Although I must say, when I think he's aggravating her that is when it seems she smiles at him the most. She definitely loves her big brother!

I don't know if it was a one time thing or not but Jordan actually slept through the night! We stayed up late but once we went to sleep she didn't wake up until 8:30. Can you believe it? I cna't. I haven't had a full night's sleep in at *least* three months! Here's to hoping this wasn't a fluke....

I figure now that we have moved I need a way to keep everyone up to date on us.... without sending out fifty emails a day. So here goes. We are officially moved in! We love the new place, although we are still living out of boxes and suitcases. It's a two bedroom two story townhouse on campus. Jackson thinks having a room upstairs is the best thing ever. Jordan has adjusted well. She still is not sleeping through the night but hopefully she'll catch onto that soon. I can't wait to get a full night's sleep again! Adam is still working for the same company and so far he enjoys the office here in our area. His commute is no fun though, it's about 45 minutes, give or take the traffic. The kids and I got up this morning to take him so we'd have the van (our car is still in SC until this weekend). We won't be doing that again, Jordan cried for the first half hour of the trip. Well, that's about it for now.
